Call for Submission
What will you design to make Ukiah an incredible place to live, work, and play?
The App Design for Social Good Challenge invites student problem solvers and designers from 4th grade to college in Ukiah to propose a mobile app that makes our community a better place and design its user interfaces. Individual or team participants will identify specific issues that exist in the local communities and propose mobile app design solutions that address the identified community issues. By participating in this challenge, you will gain skills in design elements of a mobile app and have the opportunity to win an award to donate to our community.
No coding is required. Join the challenge, elevate your problem-solving skills, kindle your creative spirit, and make our community a better place for all.

Prototype the mobile interface
Team Size: 1-3
A community lead is interested in leading the team to identify social problems in the community.
A creative lead is interested in leading the team to propose creative mobile app solutions.
A design lead is interested in leading the team to design the user interfaces of the proposed mobile app.

Submit your project the challenge by May 23rd, 2023. If you work as a team, only one submission per team.

Awards
This challenge adopts the "Pay it Forward" principle. Winning teams will be awarded with a voucher to donate to a 501(c)3 organization of their choice and receive recognition certificates from Lucas College and Graduate School of Business at San Jose State University.
